The LG DoublePlay™: A Clever Smartphone

This post brought to you by LG DoublePlay™. All opinions are 100% mine.

I use my smartphone as a mini computer… and for making phone calls. While I only get a handful of text messages, I consider my cell phone essential for checking my emails and updating my social network accounts (I seriously spend at least an hour a day on social networking sites). But, I can’t be glued to my desk all day. How long do you spend online on your social network account or texting on your phone?

In the latest lineup of T-Mobile’s exclusive cell phones is the LG DoublePlay™, which features dual touch screens that you can customize. The main screen is 3.5 inches and the sub-screen is 2 inches. “Sub-screen?” you ask. Yep. The DoublePlay™ is a full slide-out phone that has Swype® technology and a QWERTY keyboard. You can customize up to nine touchscreens and seven home screens.

If you’re a multi-tasker like me, you can surf the Internet while texting, updating your Facebook status or checking your email. I like this feature because it’s kind of like using my computer. Plus, you can use the 5-megapixel camera (which comes with an LED flash) as a 720 HD video camera. If you are a texting addict, you can use Group Text ™ and Cloud Text™ so you can participate in group chats, or send and receive messages from your tablet or PC. Furthermore, the LG DoublePlay™ has Android™ 2.3 (Gingerbread) software so you have access to the Android™ Market and apps.

Check out the LG DoublePlay™ for yourself. How do you think this phone would change the way you interact with your friends?
