$1000 per Day

$1000 per day...so many jokes...so inappropriate.

I'm talking about the story of Cici, the pink poodle in Colorado. Her owner died her fur pink with beet juice. Now the authorities in Boulder are fining the owner $1000 a day for everyday that Cici remains pink. Yep, there's a law against dying your pet pink over there in an effort to save bunnies and little chicks the hardship of being colored pastel colors during Easter.

The owner of Cici has also received several complaints, as has the Humane Society, about the pink dog.

What would be more inhumane though: leaving the dog pink because of harmless beet juice or using harmful chemicals to bleach its fur?

It's a pink dog...a cute pink dog. There are better things to cry about: we are in a war and children are starving around the world for goodness' sake. I doubt that $1000 a day is not going to feed hungry children.
