I've done my own elimination diet in hopes that I could find some relief from my migraines and took wheat products away from my mouth. I don't even know how I came to the conclusion that I should try this.
From Sunday to Wednesday of last week, I did not have anything with gluten in it and was practically migraine free. On Wednesday I experimented with the bread basket when I went out to dinner and then had pizza (1 slice) the night after. Guess what happened? I had a horrible migraine on Friday morning and then another on Saturday morning.
Since then, I have not had anything with wheat in it and have been migraine free. I wonder if I am going to have to be gluten free from now on since I get bad migraines only about two times a year for a few weeks. Who knows: maybe the intolerance will get worse.
I miss bread a lot, but am happy to be pain free.
