Every Kitchen Needs a Scale

In my opinion, a kitchen isn't complete without a good scale...and I badly needed one. There are a bunch of European recipes that I want to try, but was afraid of messing them up because the measurements are all in grams or milliliters. Ozeri came to the rescue and sent me the Ozeri Touch II Professional Digital Kitchen Scale with Microban® Antimicrobial Product Protection.

About the Scale

The Touch II Professional Digital scale comes with:

My Review

The Ozeri Touch II Professional Digital Kitchen Scale is ready to use as soon as you take it out of the package. The first thing that I noticed was the nice packaging and the scale's small size. It weighs only 1.5 pounds and is about the size of a small tablet at 5.9-by-0.5-by-9.1 inches. It's simple to slide it into a cupboard or drawer.

The scale is also super simple to use. I only had to look at the user manual to learn make sure that I was using the Tare function properly. Otherwise, a push of the button does it all. I weighed a bunch of stuff around my house using the different functions and everything worked well.

In addition to weighing ingredients, I'm looking forward to using the scale for letters and packages that I want to mail. Before, I used my luggage scale to weigh packages. This worked out okay, but it's hard to weigh something that doesn't have a handle with a luggage scale. Plus, the luggage scale doesn't weigh items that are as light as letters. With the scale and the handy booklet that it comes with, I no longer have to guess at how much postage to use!

So, do I recommend the Ozeri Touch II Professional Digital Kitchen Scale? Yes!If you're looking for a slim kitchen scale, this one won't disappoint.
