I spent about eight months in a cast with a broken foot. It was a pretty sedentary eight months. Soon after I received the "all clear" to go cast-free, I signed up to review the Air Bar Exercises workout video, volume 1.
Air Bar Exercises are low-impact. Basically, you do exercises while holding a stick. I used a 40-inch dowel that measured 40 inches in length. The point of using the bar is that it promotes good posture and engages your core more. By itself, the bar weighs about 1 pound. When you're working out, it sometimes seems as if it weighs 30 pounds because your muscles get tired.

What I do like about the video is that there are two people in it, so you get different angles, or views, of the exercises. This helps me make sure that I'm doing it them correctly.
My biggest gripe about the Air Bar Exercise program is their lack of an online presence. At the time of publication, the DVD has a website, but all of its social media accounts are suspended or deleted. Personally, this doesn't give me much confidence.

As I worked out, I also tried the Aleratec Multi-Tier Swivel TV Stand. The stand has three tiers, but I felt as if the stand was too short. I had to look down too much when I worked out. I did find, however, that the stand is the perfect height when I use it as a night stand with my air mattress. Here is my video review:
