This weekend was the BEST in a long time!
After we checked into our hotel, Kyle and I got our couple's massage at Aqua Terra Massage.
The massage tables are really comfortable
They have cool decorations, too.
These were our therapists, Eryk and Faye. They are both really nice and smart.
Here is a picture of their massage studio.
We went to eat dinner later at a Cuban restaurant. It was really good. Kyle had "ropa vieja" and I had the "pollo criollo". We were too full for dessert, or I would have ordered a "tres leches".
At our hotel on the waterfront, we were upgraded to the "Executive Suite" (it said it on the door). It was a really nice room.
This is the living room part of it.
Here is the dining room. During our stay, room service brought us up complimentary ice cream and sodas...and chocolates!
This a water fountain decoration thing.
Really nice miniature shampoos and other toiletries.
The toilet had a footstool/ottoman! Just kidding, it is a stool for the vanity or for next to the tub.
His & hers sinks.
On my birthday, I got breakfast in bed! I really do look that FABULOUS in the morning. Here I am trying to figure out what to eat first.
I couldn't eat it all, so I got the french toast. It was coated with corn flakes and topped with bananas and strawberries. It was weird, but good.
Miniature condiments. The sugar packet is the only regular-sized item.
This is the view out our window.
By law, it has to rain on Easter Sunday here. We tried to go to the mall with no luck. But we did see this neat bike with a motor on it. I wonder what those guys in the background are laughing about.
Since the mall was closed, we went to Voodoo Doughnuts, which is always open. I got a sugar doughnut with raspberry filling. Kyle got a HUGE bear claw. They were really good.
I can be a disgustingly, messy eater and usually the food ends up somewhere on my face.
This is the chandelier inside the doughnut shop.
We went to Todai for dinner. This is my birthday cake ensemble: cheesecake, key lime pie, strawberry cake, creme puff, and a creme brulee. Of course...all miniature.
Kyle stuck the chopstick out of the window at the restaurant in hopes to poke a mall rat.
Speaking of mall rats, this guy on the escalator lost his meth. He lost it outside of the window behind Kyle and me and walked away. I think his cross dressing friend that had a really bad wig, ugly red purse, red jacket, and out-of-season flip-flops left it behind the window and then a security guard found it and took it to the security office all annoyed. Then our escalator friend here came to look for it and passed by a million times looking for the bags.
The picture I took of this curious fellow wasn't very good, so I made a sketch in case mall security wanted it. The guy really looked like this!
