I did a lot of craft these last couple of weeks. I made a wrist rest for my office at work, jewelry for my sister-in-law, and a couple of "paper doll" cards. Click on any of the pictures to see it larger (like the jewelry).
WRIST REST
This is non-slip stuff so the wrist rest doesn't slide off your desk.
Pick out a favorite piece of fabric.
Pet your cat. Mine was looking at me all crazy.
Cut out a rectangle that is twice the length of the desired wrist rest length.
Pin the grippy stuff to it and hand sew it to the fabric. I couldn't put it in the sewing machine because it was too grippy.
Take a mini tortilla break.
Sew it all up, right sides together. Flip right-side-out and fill with rice. All done!
JEWELRY for my SISTER-IN-LAW
I made a set with shell earrings and the other beads are all glass and some stone.
PAPER DOLL CARDS
I drew and colored the dolls and dressed them up with fabric, lace ribbon, silk flowers, and handmade paper that has flower petals in it. The pink doll is holding a mini-card.
