The pages within the sketchbook look like graph paper with ten small squares per inch. One side of the notebook’s page has a plain ruled page for notes and the other side has the template of a real-sized iPhone with a grid within it. The graph paper within the iPhone template provides app developers a space to create drawing mock-ups and see how it may look on a cell phone. The cover is made of a thick cardstock and has a “Personal info ‘return-book’ page” at the front and a Revenue & Profit Sales Matrix in the back cover.
The idea behind iPhone Sketchbooks is great—I have never seen anything like it in the past. The only issue I had with the sample I received is that cover page made of thick cardstock cracked along the stapled edge when I bent it backwards. If I continue to bend the cover page back in this manner, the cover will fall loose in no time. I think the cover of the sketchbook is not meant to be bent backwards; it should lie flat instead. Overall, this is a neat idea from which app developers can benefit.
