I have dry feet. They've been like this my whole life, so I try to keep my feet planted on the floor when I wear sandals. My pedicure tools to remedy this problem include a Ped Egg, foot file, callus shaver, pumice stone and raw shea butter (which works pretty well). When I had the opportunity to test an electronic foot file, I was skeptical. Nothing worked before. Why would it work now?
Don't file your feet over shag carpet. You'll regret it. |
The file I tried was the Naturalico Electronic Foot File. It's rechargeable, has an extra exfoliating head, includes a cleaning brush, and comes in a nice box for storage. The file also has and LED light, which didn't really make a difference for me. When I used it, the dry skin on my feet came off without any problems. It worked better than anything I tried in the past, and it was simple to use!
I've use the electric foot file a few times since receiving it and have not had any problems. When you use it, you should put a page of newsprint (or any type of paper) on the floor under your feet so the dead skin doesn't end up making a pile on your carpet.
I always moisturize my feet after exfoliating them. Right now, I'm into the LeliaSea Dead Sea Mineral Hand Cream. It has a nice creamy texture that doesn't feel greasy, which I like because my feet don't slip around in my shoes. The cream smells like perfume, too. Most of all, I like that I don't feel embarrassed about my dry feet when I go out.
