My family and I got Shelly 12 years ago from a breeder. She was so tiny and barely weighed 2 kilos. Shelly liked to look in bags to see if you got her any presents, wipe her mouth on you when it was dirty, demanded massages, and would make you hold her bone so she could chew on it without bending over.
Shelly was a kind, loving dog that was protective of my sister and me. She would let children ride on her as if she was a horse. She was nuts about squirrels and cookies. Shelly taught many people to not be afraid of dogs. She was a good dog and I will miss not seeing her when I go visit my parents.
