Unlike the Velociraptor, the Sinornithosaurus was short--about the size of a turkey. So, instead of catching prey in its talons and flying them to a nest, it would bite. The Sinornithosaurus' bite would seep venom into its prey's blood and cause it to go into shock. The effects of the poison would not kill the Sinornithosaurus' meal immediately, but would die a slow death while it was eaten.
