How to Do Multiple Braids

Braids are a mystery to me. I can do a Dutch braid in my hair, but not a (supposedly simpler) French braid. Then there are those weaved, multi-strand braids that look impossible. I found the following picture on Saifou.com that shows how to do a weaved braid. It looks like you'll need to enlist the help of a friend to do these plaits.
