A few years ago, I did a post about the history of Valentine’s Day. While February 14 has never been a big deal for me, I
do enjoy receiving notes and cards on this occasion that express love and
appreciation. Who doesn’t? This year, I plan to give my husband a handmade
Valentine’s Day card.
Make Your Own Cards
In addition to making handmade cards, I enjoy making custom
cards using online software, like Treat.
Treat is similar to digital scrapbooking (a favorite hobby of mine), but you
make cards instead of books.
I hate buying cards at the drugstore. While some of them are
funny, it takes too long to go through all of card to find the right message.
With Treat, you can add your own pictures and messages to make your cards works
of art that your recipient will want to show-off.
Treat is super user-friendly—just drag-and-drop the pictures
that you want and add text. Plus, when you create an account, you can set up
birthday reminders and reminders for other special days.
