Blood Pressure Monitor Review

This post is a product review for the Ozeri CardioTech Premium Series BP3T Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor.  I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review. The opinions expressed are 100 percent my own.

I just received the Ozeri CardioTech Premium Series BP3T Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Intelligent Hypertension Indicator. Yeah, it's a l-o-n-g name for a blood pressure monitor. According to Ozeri, hospitals and physicians across the world use CardioTech products for their own needs.

Description & Features

The CardioTech BP3T comes with with a monitor, medium-sized cuff, four AAA batteries, user manual and a carrying case. The monitor has a special double-pulse detection algorithm to give users the most accurate results possible. Most electronic blood pressure monitors only inflate to 170 mmHg, but the BP3T uses a measure-while-inflate technology that makes the cuff inflate according to real-time blood pressure detection readings.

The BP3T's computer stores 60 blood pressure readings for two individuals for a total of 120 readings with a date and time memory recall. After it takes your blood pressure, the machine displays your reading and compares your stats to the World Health Organization's hypertension guidelines so you know if your BP is in a healthy range. Additionally, the display indicates if the monitor detected an arrhythmia (an irregular heartbeat).

Ozeri backs the CardioTech BP3T with a 5-year warranty.

My Review

The first thing I noticed about the BP3T was its packaging. It comes in a box that's simple to open, so you aren't messing with any hard plastic shells that are impossible to open.

The monitor has a super sleek design that's incredibly user-friendly. To set up the machine, you simply insert the included batteries. Alternatively, if you have one, you can plug in a DC power cord into the little hole on the right side of the monitor. Then you plug in the arm cuff into the little hole on the left side of the monitor. Set the switch at the top to person A or B and press "Start." That's it! The machine turns off when you push the "Stop" button or after one minute of inactivity.

I used the monitor first. Then my husband moved the switch to person B and took his blood pressure. I like how the monitor tells you if your reading is within the normal range so you don't have to guess. The BP3T squeezed my arm really hard, like the BP machines at the supermarket, but I think it's supposed to do that.

I purchased another brand's BP monitor several years ago, but like the BP3T a lot more. The old monitor is going into the friends/family giveaway pile.

Check out the CardioTech BP3T on Amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
