Learn about probiotic basics on my post, Should I Take Probiotics.

The best probiotics to purchase are those with a high number of CFUs, or colony-forming units. When I test probiotics, I only choose those that have CFUs in the billions. I also look for those that were recently manufactured and/or refrigerated at the time of purchase or ordering.

Of the probiotics that I reviewed, I found that Doctor's Choice Probiotic Supplement has the most CFUs and the smallest capsule. Vita Advanced Probiotic has the second largest amount of CFUs. Evergreen Nature Probiotic has the least amount of probiotics.

Talk to your doctor to learn which probiotics you should take.
