One of the golden rules of writing is to use the "active" voice. Doing so makes your words come alive and supposedly makes your writing more interesting. I don't buy it.I don't know...maybe it's because I speak in the passive voice all the time that I hate the active voice. Or maybe I just hate seeing all those squiggle lines in the word processing program when I am writing. At least I'm not as bad as that ninja.
