Vitamin C Serum Review

I received the products mentioned in exchange for an unbiased review on my blog. This post contains affiliate links, meaning that I receive a small commission if you click on an Amazon.com link and make a purchase.

Vitamin C is a natural antioxidant and aids in the synthesis of collagen, so I was eager to try the Valentia Skin Care Even Glow Serum, which contains 20 percent vitamin C.

Valentia Skin Care boasts that this product:
  • Absorbs rapidly into the skin.
  • Boosts collagen production.
  • Makes your skin glow.
  • Evens skin tone.
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

My Findings

The directions on the bottle state to massage a few drops of the vitamin C serum onto your face before applying your moisturizer. I thought that using the serum and moisturizer seemed excessive, but found that it is necessary because the serum is not oily at all. It absorbs into your skin in a matter of seconds.

The first thing that I noticed is an improvement in my complexion. After the first night of using the product, it seemed as if my pores were smaller. After a couple of weeks of using the serum in the morning and at night, the dark circles under my eyes are a bit lighter.

I didn't notice any difference in the fine lines that I have. However, this could be because I haven't used the serum long enough.

In addition to vitamin C, the serum contains ingredients like:
  • Organic rosehip seed and sea buckthorn oil: Promotes hydration and healing.
  • Resistem: Battles the effects of stress.
  • Hyaluronic acid: Boosts collagen production and helps keep skin moisturized.
  • Green tea extract: Contains an antioxidant that helps reduce inflammation.
Overall, I'm happy with the results of the Even Glow Serum. I dread the day that I come to the last drops.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
