CD Review: "Tiger Suit" by KT Tunstall

I recently received KT Tunstall's new album, Tiger Suit, to listen and review. Released on October 5th, Tiger Suit  features the song "Fade Like a Shadow," which is already a Top 20 radio hit. Just to jog your memory, KT is a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum, Scottish-born singer-songwriter whose other hit songs include "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree," "Suddenly I See," Other Side of the World" and "Hold On".

I like the folky/pop/rock feel of Tunstall's new album, and all its textures. If you liked her previous albums, you will like this one. Although I do not have a favorite song from the album yet, I have am partial to "(Still a) Weirdo." What I like the best about this album, however, is that Tunstall is able to sell her music because she is a good musician. She does not need flashy clothes, stunts or crazy pictures/videos to sell her work; Tunstall's real-life emotions and good voice sell naturally good voice sell it for her.
