Durable, Reusable Storage Boxes

There are a couple things that I hate: messes and cleaning. In college, I hated the twice yearly packing and unpacking when school started and ended. I wish PackAways Dorm Boxes were available back then. These boxes are made from heavy-duty corrugated polypropylene plastic that collapse when you don’t need them for easy storage. A set of these boxes would have lasted me the four years of college life and then some.

Also available from PackAways are under-bed boxes that are long and thin, as well as tote boxes that remind me of the boxes that the post office uses for letters. Two sides of all the boxes have wipe-away panels that let you label the box. When you use the box for a different purpose, you simply change the label by wiping away the old text and writing something new—like a dry-erase board.

My Experience with PackAways

I’ve been using the Dorm Boxes that PackAways sent to me for review purposes for organizing my craft items. The first thing I noticed is that the boxes are super-easy to set up and don’t require any packing tape. The second thing that I notice is the size of the box—it’s big! After putting my craft supplies in the box, I still had room in the box to spare. Third thing that I noticed is also one of my favorites: the box is simple to close and you don’t need tape to keep it closed.

PackAway Colors

The colors I received are hot pink and bright green. You can also order blue and opaque white boxes. While I prefer the look of the white boxes, the different colors available are great for color-coding rooms if you’re moving and color-coding items you have in your garage or a storage space. Plus, if you have a child in college, the bright colors will help them easily identify the boxes they keep in the dorm storage room (and eliminate the need to hunt for boxes at the end of the school year).

The price of PackAway boxes makes them an investment, but their durability can make them worth it.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
